The body of a class 12 student, who was allegedly kidnapped when she had gone to attend tuition classes, was today found in Sardhana area here, police said.
The body of Devalika, a professor's daughter, was found near a canal following two days of search operations launched by the police after she had gone missing on Monday evening.
With the body being found, the accused Sawan Jain, who was arrested yesterday, appears to be the one who apparently killed her, Superintendent of Police (City) Om Prakash.

Sawan's father and brother have been take into custody for interrogation, the SP said.
The incident came to light on Monday when the girl's parents lodged a missing complaint following which the police recovered an abandoned two-wheeler in Daraula police station area.
Based on her mobile phone's call records, the accused had admitted to have strangulated the girl to death after she had slapped him over some issue.
Faculty members of Meerut College had yesterday demanded the girl be found within a day and threatened they would not let the college examinations be conducted.
Meanwhile, anger seemed to be brewing among the teaching, student community and people in general over the issue.
