: The body of an unidentified man was found hanging from a tree in a forest area near Mettupalayam here early today, police said.
A forest guard on morning rounds in Jakkanari forest area noticed the body of a man in his early thirties and immediately informed police, who rushed to the spot.
Investigations are on to ascertain whether it was a case of suicide or murder, they added.
