The body of a doctor missing since last week was recovered from a drain here today, police said.
Dr Fayimuddin, a resident of Jat colony, went missing on March 23 and a police complaint in this regard was registered by his family members on Monday.
Locals spotted the body first and informed Murad Nagar police who sent it for post-mortem.
An attempt on the doctor's life had been made two years ago, police added.
Family members suspect that he was abducted and subsequently killed and said his mobile and wallet could not be found.
