The body of Laxman Oram, 53, Tehasildar of Bisra in Odisha's Sundergarh district, was recovered from near the railway track here today, police said.
Oram's body was recovered today near railway track. He was frequenting everyday from Jharsuguda, where he was staying at Panchpada.
A K Chakraborty, in charge of GRP here said Oram used to commute daily from Jharsuguda. Last evening his driver dropped him at Rourkela station.

Chakraborty said since Oram was a monthly pass holder, he had boarded the Rourkela-Koraput Intercity Express.
Chakroborty said, "So far everything indicated that it was an accidental death".
The mutilated body has been sent for post mortem, he added.
