Herdsmen found the body of an unidentified woman in Nagavaram village under the Wanaparthy police station of the district, a police official said here today.
Wanaparthy police circle inspector Shakeer Hussain said that the body was found in Vaasudhevamma garden by some herdsmen who informed the police.
The police reached the spot immediately and began investigating the case, the police official said.
Wanaparthy Police DSP also examined the scene, the police official said.
It is suspected that the woman was killed some ten days ago and then burnt with petrol, the police official said.
