Body recovered from river in J-K

The body of a man, who had gone missing for the past two days, was recovered from a river in south Kashmir's Anantnag district, police said today.

The body of Lahanu Chowdary(45), a resident of Dahang area in Nepal, was recovered from the river Lidder in Pahalgam yesterday, they said.

Chowdary was working at a sweets shop in Pahalgam and was reportedly missing since March 14.

Further probes are on, police added.
