Bold grains slide on reduced offtake

Bold grain prices moved down by upto Rs 15 per quintal at wholesale market today due to reduced offtake by consuming industries.

Traders said besides reduced offtake by consuming industries, adequate stocks position on increased supplies from producing belts, mainly attributed the slide in bold grain prices.

In the national capital, bajra and maize fell by Rs 10 and Rs 15 to Rs 1,265-1,270 and Rs 1,460-1,465 per quintal, respectively.

Barley also eased by Rs 15 to Rs 1,485-1,495 per quintal.
