Agnee shot to fame after composing the theme song 'Aahatein' for reality TV show "Splitsvilla".
"My identity is Agnee and it will always remain so. I don't mind doing Bollywood songs but that is not what I am looking at, it is not my career goal.
"Bollywood is a big platform and has wide reach so it is important to make the most of it but I don't want to be a playback singer and be remembered as some actor's voice. I want to sing for my own compositions," Mohan told PTI.
The band has been nominated for the upcoming GIMA awards for their three tracks 'Manmaani' featuring Raghu Ram, 'I Believe' featuring band Parikrama and singer Shilpa Rao and 'Hello Andheron' featuring Aditi Singh Sharma.
'Hello Andheron' was composed as a theme song for the Hindi version of Hollywood film "Avengers".
Mohan says after winning a GIMA last year for 'Aahatein' their hopes are high on this one.
"Our very first award was from GIMA last year and this time we are nominated again so it makes us very happy and proud. If we wouldn't have been nominated I would have been disappointed. I am very happy and hope to win this year too," he said. (MORE)
