Actor Boman Irani has hurt his knee while shooting a song sequence for his upcoming film 'Santa Banta' in Fiji.
Irani, 53, who is playing the titular character of Santa in director Akashdeep's film, tore a ligament and had to be rushed back to the hotel.
"Boman hurt his knee and tore a ligament while he was dancing to a racy track which we were shooting. He had to be carried back to the Hilton Hotel where he is currently staying," a source said.
The actor reportedly will not be able to shoot for five days.
'Santa Banta' also stars Vir Das, who plays the other titular character Banta and also features Lisa Hayden, Neha Dhupia, Jhonny Lever among others.
