A suspicious looking object found in the Super Corridor area here gave police some tense moments before they realised that someone had played a prank, an official said.
The incident occurred when police were informed that an object "resembling a time bomb" was placed in the area, touted as the best investment destination, he said.
"Teams of police personnel and a Bomb Disposal Squad reached the spot to discover that the object looking like a time bomb did not contain any explosive," said Aerodrome police station Inspector RD Kanwa.
He said police are trying to trace the mischief-mongers.
