Two bomb-like objects were spotted on tracks under Sainthia-Rampurhat route in Eastern Railway tonight, after which movement of trains was disrupted.
Top railway police sources said the objects, fitted with wires, were seen lying at a spot, three km from Suri station, by a train motorman at around 8:15 pm.
The area was soon cordoned off and the approaching Howrah-Rampurhat Mayurakshi Fast Passenger, besides local trains on Saithia-Andal route were stranded at various stations.
The bomb squad personnel went to the spot from Suri to examine the objects.
