Bomb making materials have been recovered after an explosion from the house of a quack at Pokaria in Pakur district of Jharkhand, the police said today.
The police said the quack dentist A Hamid, who has a clinic in Ganpur village, suffered injuries in the explosion that took place on Wednesday night.
But he managed to flee before the villagers and police led by the officer-in-charge of Pokaria police station, Rajeshwar Paswan reached the spot.
The villagers informed the police after hearing the explosion.
"The police recovered bomb making materials including small pieces of glass, thread from the room, which has been sealed by the police," Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Pakur), Kaushal Kishore told newsmen today.
Though Hamid had been practising for last two years but no one knew much about him, he said.
