An anonymous call, claiming that a bomb has been planted near a gate of Sawai Man Singh hospital, turned out to be a hoax today, police said.
Police searched the area in and around the SMS hospital thoroughly but no suspicious object was found. A bomb disposal squad had also rushed to the spot, Police Commissioner Bhupendra Dak said.
"The caller said that a bomb has been planted near a gate of SMS hospital," Dak said, adding that efforts were on to trace the caller.
