Two persons were arrested for making hoax calls about bombs being placed at certain places in the city, sending authorities into a tizzy to secure the areas.

While one of them had called Gurgaon Police Control Room yesterday and said that a bomb had been placed at Delhi Metro's HUDA City Centre station and Vyapar Kendra at Sushant Lok in Gurgaon, the other had called the Delhi Police Control Room today and said that a bomb was placed in Arcadia Complex in South City Gurgaon.

Gurgaon Police Commissioner Navdeep Singh Virk said that Sunny Sharma, of Kairala village in Delhi, was arrested for using a "lost mobile SIM card" for making the hoax call yesterday to the Gurgaon Police Control Room.

The SIM belonged to one Saroj Kumar, a permanent resident of Bhadrak district in Orissa, and who presently lives in Jharsa village in Gurgaon, and he had lost it some time back.

The other caller was identified and arrested by Gurgaon police, Virk said, adding that his identity could not be revealed presently.
