Indie folk band Bon Iver have announced a gender equity campaign "2 A Million" aimed at promoting awareness to end domestic violence and sexual abuse.
The campaign has launched in collaboration with the band's upcoming tour.
Bon Iver shared the news on Twitter, that they will team with local nonprofit organisations in each city the tour visits to bring gender equity "centerstage thru action, fundraising and education."

"If you'll be at any of our shows this fall, look for the 2 A Million banner near the merch, say hi, get informed, and donate," the tweet reads.
The band has also asked fans to make donations for the campaign.
