Book for educating parents about kids health-related problems

The 75-page book entitled 'Health is Everything' was released today by Rajasthan Tourism and Environment minister Bina Kak for circulation among parents, teachers and students free of cost.

"The book is a collection of topics and scholastic, social and health related problems amongst children. It will be distributed in schools, libraries, disability centres, NGOs for public awareness," Dr. Vivek Sharma, a child specialist working with a hospital, said on the occasion.

"General information/symptoms/causes/required precautionary measures for problems like school phobia, dyslexia, obesity, teenage smoking, problems due to heavy bags, bed wetting, asthma, problem with arithmetic, exam stress, among others, have been covered in the book," he said.

 

He said the book prepared initially in English will be translated to Hindi, Telugu and other regional languages and distributed in other states also.

The minister appreciated the effort stating it is for the beneficial for parents.
