A book on the decennial exposition of the sacred relics of St Francis Xavier (2014-15) held last year in November was unveiled here.
The book, 'Images of Faith - SFX Saint of the East - Exposition and Churches of Old Goa', penned by Dinesh Patel, released recently, chronicles the events of the month-long exposition that began in Old Goa from November 22.
Patel, who experiments with different genres said the book contains pictures and information of the exposition, displaying many moods of the mega religious event and is dedicated to the Patron Saint of Goa.
Divided into two parts, the book focuses on the Patron Saint of Goa, depicting his life and struggle with a chapter dedicated to it.
The book also highlights the 28 odd places of tourist interest in Old Goa, including the churches and ruins that bear testimony to an illustrious history.
Published by Dream Phoenix, the book contains around 140 photographs.
