Fourth seeds Rohan Bopanna and Florin Mergea of Romania had to sweat it out to register a three-set win over Marcin Matkowski and Nenad Zimonjic and enter the final of the ATP Mercedes Cup, here.
The Indo-Romanian pair fought hard for nearly one hour and 12 minutes to eke out a 6-3 6-7(6) 10-7 over the second seeded Polish-Serbian combination win in the super tie-breaker last night to secure their place in the summit clash.
Bopanna and Mergea will face third seed Brazil's Bruno Soares and Alexander Peya of Austria in the final of the euro 642,070 grasscourt tournament.
