Bosnian police say a man threw a hand grenade into a nightclub, wounding 26 people, six seriously, then called the police to complain that the bouncers had beaten him up afterward.

Police said today that an hour after the attack yesterday in Velika Kladusa, western Bosnia, they arrested the 30 year-old suspect after they responded to his call from a nearby restaurant where they found him with visible injuries.

Witnesses told Bosnian TV that the man was removed from the nightclub because he was going from table to table insulting guests. He returned later and threw the grenade over the heads of the bouncers who tried to prevent him from getting in.
