Bowling camp for Jharkhand players

Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) has short-listed 17 pacers, who will undergo a week-long special fast bowling training camp to be organised at JSCA International Cricket stadium in Ranchi.

The training will take place July 29 to August 5, said Rajesh Verma, Secretary of JSCA, here today.

Verma said the special camp was aimed to provide opportunity to bowlers to sharpen their skill ahead of the domestic season, which would likely to commence two/three months later.

The training will be held under the tutelage of a former Indian fast bowler, T A Sekhar, who also had a stint as coach in MRF foundation, Delhi Daredevils and Mumbai Indian, Verma said.
 

Veteran fast-bowler and former Jharkhand Ranji team coach, Ashish Sinha would will assist Sekhar in the training.

Following are the bowlers short-listed for the camp: Shiv Shankar Rao, Ajay Yadav, Jaskaran Singh, Yajuvendra Krishnatry, Ashish Kumar, Prakash Seet, Vikash Singh, Raju Yadav, Chandan Singh, Monu Kumar Singh, Prem Kumar, A. Pawan Kumar, Krishna Patel, Ishtekhar Ahmad Khan, Jagdish Pradhan, Pradeep Kujur, Pawan Kumar Sharma.
