A boy was killed and two others fell unconscious after inhaling poisonous gas in Kotwali area, police said today.
Shivam (11) fell into a well in Palahipur village last night and when his family members raised alarm two persons Shanker and Rajdev entered it, police said.
Realising poisonous gas, Shanker and Rajdev raised alarm after which they were taken out in an unconscious state.
In the mean time, SHO V P Singh and fire officer Madan Singh Patel launched an operation to rescue Shivam.
Police said that after two hours Shivam could be taken out of the well and was taken to hospital where doctors declared him dead.
