A tribal boy died in the premises of his school in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district when a stone pillar caved in on him today, police said.
Ananta Marndi, a class seven student was playing near the pillar during school hours at the state-run Upper Primary School at Angarapada village when the stone pillar caved in, the police said.
The boy, who hailed from a neighbouring village, was rushed to nearby primary health center, where doctors declared him brought dead.
