Boy drowns in river in Nashik district

The body of a 14-year-old boy was fished out from the river Kadva today, 24 hours after he drowned.

Sameer Sonawane, resident of Lakhamapur in Dindori tehsil in the district, slipped into deeper part of the river while washing a bullock yesterday afternoon, Dindori police said.

Fire brigade personnel recovered the body today, they said.
