Akshey had allegedly stolen the money from the office of his employer in Ashok Vihar. He was arrested from Jahangirpuri yesterday, they said.

The complainant had reported only Rs six lakh missing but police recovered over Rs ten lakh from him, they said.

Akshey fell into trap of anti social elements and allegedly started committing petty thefts. Thereafter he allegedly began lifting bikes with the help of his associates Saleem and Javed, who are also from the same locality. He was earlier arrested in four cases.

"After his release from jail, he started working in the office of the complainant who deals in computer spare parts. He gained confidence of his employer in a short period of four months.

"He had differences with his father over his association with bad elements. So he wanted to live seperately. To establish a new house hold he wanted a big amount. Hence he committed this crime," police said.
