The father of a 14-year-old boy, who was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his room here, has lodged a case of abatement to suicide against three persons, including a minor girl, police said today.

Anil Berwa, a class IX student, was yesterday found hanging from the ceiling fan of his room at his house in Nainwa road area of the Sadar police station.

"A case has been lodged under Section 305 (Abatement of Suicide of child) against three persons including a teacher in a private school, a minor girl and her father, following a complaint filed by the deceased father Babulal Barwa," SHO of Sadar police station Anish Ahammed said.

Prima facie, it seems to be a a case of suicide as a suicide note was recovered from the deceased boy, but he had held no one responsible for his taking this extreme step, Ahammed said.

No evidence against the accused teacher or the other two accused, of which one is a minor girl studying in private school, has been found, he said.

Police refused to divulge the contents of the suicide note and said no arrests have been made yet and matter was being probed.
