Braille facility in Parliament Museum for visually challenged

Visually challenged visitors would now be able to read about India's democratic heritage at the Parliament Museum.

This follows inauguration of Braille facility in the Museum by Speaker Meira Kumar on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities today.

Visually challenged visitors, present on the occasion, interacted with the Speaker and thanked her for making the Museum friendly for them.

Earlier, conveying her greetings to persons with disabilities, the Lok Sabha Speaker said, "I convey my best wishes to people with disabilities across the country. Through their assiduousness, they have achieved excellence in diverse fields and won accolades.
