: The iconic brand of Coimbatore Award has been given to ELGI Equipments.
The presentation ceremony of the 3rd edition of the Brand Coimbatore- Ambassador Awards, organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Coimbatore and The Advertising Club, Coimbatore in association with PSG Institutions was held at a function here last night.
The iconic Brand of Coimbatore Award, given to Elgi Equipments was received by its managing director, Jayaram Varadaraj, an Advertising Club release said today.

The Brand Coimbatore Ambassador Award was bagged by Sree Annapoorna Sree Gowrishankar Hotels, which was received by its Chairman K Ramaswamy.
The Emerging Brand Award was given to Jewel One represented by K Srinivasan, Managing Director.
Srinivasan K Swamy, Chairman and Managing Director, RK Swamy BBDO Private Ltd. Gave away the awards.
The event was being organised to give a boost to branding activity in the region, Chamber president D Nandakumar said in the release.
Nominations were called for and a committee with an external jury chose the awardees after detailed analysis, the release said.
