Brass prices recover on renewed demand

Brass and select copper prices recovered at the non-ferrous metal market here today following stockist buying amid renewed demand from industrial users.

While, tin, zinc, copper utensils scrap and copper sheet cutting slipped owing to subdued offtake from alloy industries.

Brass utensils scrap and brass sheet cutting rose by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 310 and Rs 318 from Monday's closing level of Rs 307 and Rs 315.

Copper cables scrap, Copper scrap heavy and copper wirebar edged-up by a Re per kg each to Rs 404, Rs 396 and Rs 432, respectively.

However, Tin dropped by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,430 as against Rs 1,440 previously.
 

Copper utensils scrap, copper sheet cutting and zinc inched down by a Re per kg each to Rs 360, Rs 381 and Rs 234, respectively.
