Brazil's Supreme Court today said it was delaying a decision on whether former president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva can join the government of his embattled successor Dilma Rousseff, who faces impeachment.
The court in the capital Brasilia did not set a new date for the keenly awaited decision. Lula is a key player in Brazil's growing political crisis in which Rousseff may be suspended from office as early as mid-May.
