Breach of privilege notices were submitted against Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Revenue Minister Eknath Khadse on the last day of the Budget session of legislature today.
While submitting the notice against Khadse, Shiv Sena's Gulabrao Patil said during the winter session at Nagpur, he had told the Assembly that the local Sub-Divisional Officer and Tehsildar had been found guilty in an illegal sand mining case in Savner, Nagpur district and they would be suspended.
However, four months have passed and but no action has been taken against the two. This is an insult of the Assembly as the assurance given to it has not been fulfilled, said Patil, whose party is part of the ruling coalition.

"I have documents to prove that such an agreement was never signed in 2010," Awhad said, adding that Fadnavis had misled the House.
