It was a breezy day in the
national capital today with the maximum temperature recorded at 22.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average even as early morning fog resulted in cancellation of 30 trains.
Traces of rain early in the morning led to a drop in the minimum temperature which settled at 9.4 degrees Celsius, down four degrees of yesterday's minimum temperature, said Met department official.

Foggy conditions were witnessed in the morning with visibility recorded at 1000 meters at 5.30 AM which dropped to 600 meters at 8.30 AM. However, it increased to 2000 meters at 11.30 AM, said the official.
According to railway officials, 12 Delhi-bound trains were delayed and 30 cancelled.
Flight operations though were normal, airport officials said.
The humidity in air oscillated between 95 and 42 per cent.
The weatherman has predicted overcast conditions for tomorrow.
"The sky will be partly cloudy. Shallow to moderate fog is likely to occur in several parts of the city, while dense fog would occur at isolated places.
"While the maximum temperature is expected to be around 21 degrees Celsius, the minimum is likely to settle at 8," he added.
Yesterday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 14.4 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature had settled at 21.5 degrees Celsius.
