Bridge over Kaithal drain to be reconstructed

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has accorded administrative approval of Rs 471.03 lakh for reconstruction of an existing bridge over Kaithal drain in Kaithal district.

Stating this here today, a spokesman of Public Works (Building and Roads) Department said the existing bridge over Kaithal drain on Kaithal Cheeka Patiala road would be reconstructed as it was 45 years old.

Meanwhile, Khattar approved a proposal of Development and Panchayats Department to transfer 96 kanal land of village panchayat Kukdola (Panchgaon), block Pataudi, district Gurgaon to Technical Education Department for opening of an engineering college in the village.

The land will be transferred on lease for 33 years, an official spokesman said.
 

The Chief Minister also approved a proposal of the department to transfer land measuring 63 kanal 15 marla of village panchayat Radauri, Block Radaur, district Yamunanagar to Education Department for construction of a government college, he said.
