"The allegations of misuse of funds and misbehaviour with a woman against the Brigadier were investigated through a CoI. The allegation of misbehaviour with the woman was not proved. However, he was found guilty of misuse of funds," Defence Minister A K Antony said in written reply to a query.
He said besides this, a Colonel and Lt Col have been accused of sexual harassment in two other cases.
"All the above officers found guilty of misconduct have been punished under the relevant provisions of the Army Act," Antony said.
To a query on the poor quality of rations being served to jawans, Antony said several steps have been taken on the recommendations of a high-level Committee under the Quarter Master General of the Army to ensure a superior satisfaction level. PTI AJD
