IAS officer Brijesh Narain Singh today took charge as the District Magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar.
"The state government's priorities will be my priorities," he said, directing the collectorate's staff to bring transparency in their working.
He said thrust will be on timely completion of projects and resolution of public grievances.
Singh, a 2009 batch IAS officer, stressed on the use of Information Technology in all the departments to increase efficiency.
He said if officials face problem in resolving a issue they should immediately report it to him.
Benefits and facilities available for staff as per policy should be provided to them without delay, he said.
