Jharkhand should prioritise agriculture to bring a significant change in the sector, Planning Commission member Dr K Kasturirangan said here today.
"Jharkhand should prioritise five or six principal areas in the agriculture sector to bring about a significant change in agriculture (scenario)," he said, chairing a high-level official meeting here.
He said the state should use the expertise of institutes like Indian Council of Agricultural Research.

Jharkhand Chief Secretary R S Sharma said the government was in the process of filling up vacancies in various departments to strengthen them.
