Congress today sought "decisive corrective action" by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring Hafiz Saeed and other perpetrators of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks to justice.
"We call upon the Prime Minister to immediately intervene... And take up this issue with the government of Pakistan," party spokesman Randeep Surjewala told reporters.
He wondered as to how a man like Saeed, who is supposed to be in detention, is being permitted to hold public meetings with active aid and abetment of the Pakistani government.

He asked whether the Prime Minister, as promised by him repeatedly, has taken any "decisive corrective action" to retrieve the situation.
Meanwhile, the Congress spokesman said the party salutes the valour and sacrifice of Colonel M N Rai and other soldiers who bravely defended the attack by "Pakistan-exported terrorists" by making the supreme sacrifice in Jammu and Kashmir yesterday.
