Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said the state's priority is to eradicate poverty and bringing smile on the face of the last person of the society.
The chief minister addressing a pre-budget meeting with deputy commissioners of the six districts of Santhal Pargana and other dignitaries.
"When the last person of the society becomes happy, only then Jharkhand can become happy and prosperous," he said.

The government wanted to involve the people in the developmental works and pre-budget meetings are being arranged to know the views of the people, Das said.
If everyone works with honesty, no one could stop Jharkhand from touching new heights, he said.
The chief minister said a developed Jharkhand should be made by 2022, when there would be equal development for all and no poverty, disease or backwardness.
The state government is also trying to fulfill the prime minister's dream to give houses to the poor by 2020, he said.
