Brit Airways rolls out promo offer to mark 10 yrs in Bengaluru

After domestic airline Jet Airways lowered its fares for international travel, now overseas player British Airways has rolled out a limited period promotional offer for various destination across the UK, starting at Rs 48,115.

The bookings under the promotional fare offer, which is to celebrate the 10 years of British Airways operations from Bengaluru, can be made up to October 31 for a travel period of up to March next year, a statement said today.

The UK's flag carrier operates five flights per week to London from Bengaluru with a Boeing 777 in a three-class configuration -- Club World (business), World Traveller Plus (premium economy) and World Traveller (economy).
 

To mark the landmark achievement in India, the British Airways is pleased to announce special celebratory fares to the UK starting from just Rs 48,115, the statement said.

The airline had recently launched its A380 on the San Francisco route and the flights from Bengaluru provide seamless connections through the airline's hub at Heathrow Terminal 5, to customers travelling to San Jose and San Francisco, the release said.

Interestingly, national carrier Air India has also announced the launch of a flight service to San Francisco from the national capital from December 2, providing connecting and onward flights from cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad and Pune.

"We invite our customers to take advantage of the special offers to some of the most exciting UK destinations such as London and Manchester and be a part of this festivity," British Airways' Regional Commercial Manager for South Asia Moran Birger said.

Bengaluru is growing market for the airline both for business and leisure travel and it hopes to provide customers across India excellent value for money with an unparalleled service, he added.
