British Airways appoints new Regional Commercial Manager

British Airways today said it has appointed Moran Birger as its Regional Commercial Manager for South Asia.

Moran will be responsible for all sales and commercial activities for the region, including India, Sri Lanka and Maldives, British Airways said in a release.

Birger would be based at the airline's South Asia headquarters in Gurgaon (Haryana), the company said.

Prior to his present assignment, Birgar was posted as airline's commercial manager in Ghana.

The UK-based carriers currently operates 49 flights per week from London Heathrow Airport to five Indian cities - New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
