British Deputy High Commissioner Andrew Ayre today met Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and offered his country's assistance in health, tourism and hospitality sectors in the state.
In his discussions with Rawat, accompanied by state Chief secretary S Ramaswamy and other senior government officials, Ayre said Uttarakhand has huge potential in health, tourism and hospitality sectors and collaborative ventures can be taken with England in these fields, an official release here said here.
The chief minister told the British diplomat that creation of employment opportunities for rural and hilly areas of the state are among his top priorities and investments that help achieve this target are welcome.
