British High Commissioner to India Sir Dominic Asquith KCMG today called on Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit and Chief Minister K Palaniswami here.
During the brief meeting at the Raj Bhavan, the governor presented to him a shawl, memento and replica of the famous Lord Brahadeeshwara Temple in Thanjavur, an official release said.
The High Commissioner also called on chief minister K Palaniswami at the Secretariat, official sources said.

State industries minister M C Sampath, British deputy high commissioner in Chennai Bharat Joshi, industries department principal secretary Atulya Mishra were present during his interaction with the chief minister.
