The Border Road Organisation has decided to pump in more resources to speed up its ongoing road construction and restoration works under 'Project Shivalik' near the India-China border in Uttarakhand.
BRO DG Lt General Suresh Sharma said the project must be carried out a 'greater speed' especially considering its strategic location. He also agreed to add up to the present resources available.
Accompanied by chief engineer of Shivalik project Brigadier Gurgopal Singh, the BRO DG visited Rimkhim and Mausapani areas of Joshimath sector near India-China border.
