Uttam Doloi was going with his sister when some youths started passing comments on his sister. Uttam protested against the youths passing comments on his sister but he was beaten up by the youths, the sources said.
Uttam has been admitted to Bagnan hospital, the sources said.
A police complaint has been filed by Uttam's family against the youths, the sources added.
