The siblings, Akash and Jyoti studying in standard I and III respectively, were sent home by the teacher of the government middle school in Anisabad colony, their father, a rickshaw puller complained to Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi today.
"On hearing the complaint I telephoned the Patna District Education Officer to investigate the matter," Modi told reporters at the 'Janata ke Darbar me Upmukhya Mantri' where the two children were present.
When contacted, Patna District Education Officer Arun Kumar Sharma told PTI that he asked the district programme officer of Sarva Siksha Abhiyan to look into the complaint.
