Armed miscreants today robbed Rs 30 lakh from two brothers after injuring them near a bridge in Bihar's Katihar district, a police officer said.
The brothers Manoj Kumar Sah alias Bablu Sah and Santosh Sah, said to be rice merchants, were riding a bike on way to home collective dues from retailers when four miscreants on two bikes intercepted them near Tinpania bridge and looted the cash before wounding them, Superintendent of Police (SP) Daljeet Singh said.
Manoj Kumar Sah sustained bullet injuries after he was shot at by one of the miscreants, who mercilessly beat up the other brother wounding him too, he said.

The injured brothers were rushed to a hospital for treatment where their condition was stated to be out of danger, the SP said.
A probe was going on in the incident and all possible routes of escape by the miscreants have been sealed, he said.
