American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars, who topped music charts with his album 'Unorthodox Jukebox', has been named Billboard's 'Artist of the Year'.
The 28-year-old singer was on the top spot on eight of Billboard's year-end charts, including Hot 100 Artists and Top Overall Artists with his album, said the Hollywood Reporter.
Mars has become the second solo artist after legendary singer Elvis Presley, to have scored the first five Billboard Hot 100 number 1 singles.
He has sold millions of singles worldwide.
