'X-Men' director Bryan Singer has broken his silence by calling the sex abuse allegations by calling them "vicious and completely false".
The director released a statement to deny the allegations but said he would abstain from media events ahead of X-Men: Days of Future Past's release, said the Hollywood Reporter.
"The allegations against me are outrageous, vicious and completely false. I do not want these fictitious claims to divert ANY attention from X-Men: Days of Future Past. This fantastic film is a labor of love and one of the greatest experiences of my career.

Singer, 48, is confident that he will emerge unscathed from the present situation.
"... I promise when this situation is over, the facts will show this to be the sick twisted shakedown it is. I want to thank fans, friends and family for all their amazing and overwhelming support," singer said.
