In order to improve the depth of its apex body, BSE Brokers Forum today said it has inducted chief executive officers of PhillipCapital India and Zerodha on the governing board.
PhillipCapital India's MD and CEO Vineet Bhatnagar and Zerodha CEO Nithin Kamath were appointed on the governing board earlier this month, BSE Brokers Forum said in a statement.
The 27-member governing board of the BSE Brokers Forum consists of the cross section of the capital markets community.

"The capital markets space has been evolving with innovation and regulations both domestically and globally. The introduction of Bhatnagar and Kamath on board will deepen the board and is in-line with the Forum's objective of betterment of capital markets in general and its members in particular," said the forum's spokesperson Kamlesh Shroff.
The forum is a pan-India trade association of capital market intermediaries with around 900 members of stock exchanges, commodity exchanges and depository participants.
