Boosted by a rally in stocks, the total market valuation of listed companies at the BSE regained the Rs 100 lakh-crore mark today.
The total market capitalisation (m-cap) of BSE listed companies stood at Rs 1,00,36,165 crore at the end of trade today.
Investor wealth of BSE-listed firms, measured by market capitalisation, had crashed below Rs 100 lakh crore on August 24, when the Sensex plunged by 1,624.51 points.

The index has now gained over 585 points in the last three sessions.
"Markets started the week on a positive note on the back of strong quarterly corporate earnings, mainly led by index heavyweight Reliance Industries," said Gaurav Jain, Director, Hem Securities.
Among the 30-Sensex components, 19 ended with gains, led by RIL and Bharti Airtel.
Sectorally, BSE realty won the day as it gained 2.57 per cent, followed by technology, healthcare, IT and oil & gas.
The total market valuation of all listed firms at the BSE had first hit Rs 100 trillion on November 28, 2014.
BSE is among the world's ten largest exchanges in terms of market value, while it is the largest globally for number of firms listed on its platform. It has over 4,000 actively traded companies and nearly 2.9 crore investors trade on it.
