BSE Sammaan, a platform on which companies can find trusted NGOs to work with, has tied up with Tata Institute of Social Sciences to jointly conduct training and capacity building workshops for Companies across India.
The aim of the workshops is to enhance a company's capabilities for effective and speedy implementation of their CSR (corporate social responsibilities) goals and objectives.
It will also help Companies in selecting the right NGO partners to ensure a meaningful social impact. The workshops would be launched in Chennai, Delhi and Kolkata.

Delta Power Solutions, part of the USD 7.5 billion Delta Group and market leader in switching power supplies, today signed an agreement with Ingram Micro to market the company's products in India.
Ingram Micro becomes Delta's first major appointment since it shifted focus to the Indian market a year ago, a release said here.
Ingram Micro will market Delta's UPS systems, Data Center Infrastructure range, and Telecom Power Solutions.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed between the two companies here.

HDFC Bank names 5 digital innovation winners
HDFC Bank today announced winners of second edition of its digital innovation summit by announcing winners are from artificial intelligence, augmented reality, Internet of things, secure payment solutions, and rural fintech domains.
Five fintech start-ups from Israel, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi were selected in this round, the bank said.
While two winners are from Bengaluru, other three are based in Delhi, Mumbai, and in the Israeli city of Tel Aviv, respectively. The Israeli start-up was one of the seven overseas entries.
These start-ups get a chance to deploy their innovations in the bank, after further evaluation on technical, business, security, and compliance parameters.

Rediffusion-Y&R launches new brand diagnostic tool
Communication agency Rediffusion-Y&R today launched a new version of Brand Asset Valuator (BAV) a diagnostic tool for building and managing brands based on a nationwide study of real consumers.
The BAV is among the largest brand databases in the world - spanning 51 countries over 24 years, covering 57,400 brands in 200 different categories, capturing the feedback of over 12,05,150 respondents.
The BAV India 2017 study was conducted across 16 cities, tracking the opinions of 10,529 respondents in the age group of 18-65 years.
